Food & Thought 2 is seeking a dedicated Pizza Cook to craft exceptional artisan pizzas using 100% organic ingredients. You’ll join a fast-paced kitchen, work with scratch-made dough and fresh produce, and deliver memorable guest experiences with quality and consistency.

You will prepare dough, sauces, toppings, and pizzas, maintain safety standards, and support daily kitchen operations. Prioritizing teamwork, reliability, and pride in craftsmanship is essential.

Qualifications

• Has experience preparing pizzas in a restaurant or high-volume kitchen.
• Experience stretching dough by hand and working with artisan or scratch-made pizza.
• Passionate about fresh, organic, high-quality ingredients.
• Works efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen with attention to detail.
• Demonstrates teamwork, communication, and organizational skills.
• Is dependable, punctual, and flexible for evenings/weekends.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook pizzas according to recipes and portion standards.
• Prepare dough, sauces, toppings, and ingredients following standards.
• Work with organic ingredients and maintain high quality.
• Monitor oven temps and cooking times for consistent results.
• Maintain FIFO food storage, labeling, and rotation.
• Ensure pizzas meet appearance, texture, flavor, and consistency standards.
• Assist with daily prep, station setup, inventory, and restocking.
• Keep a clean, organized, sanitary workstation throughout shifts.
• Minimize waste through proper prep and portion control.
• Follow all food safety and sanitation regulations.
• Collaborate with chefs and team for exceptional guest experience.
• Complete opening, closing, and cleaning duties as assigned.
