Whole Foods Market is seeking a Bakery Decorator to create and decorate cakes, tarts, and pastries, including special orders. You’ll use your artistic skills to finish items that meet quality standards while supporting store programs and food-safety procedures.

The role requires 6–12 months in retail or a similar setting and completion of the Bakery Decorator Apprentice training or equivalent experience. Weekend and holiday availability may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6-12 months retail or restaurant experience.
• Completed Bakery Decorator Apprentice training or equivalent.

Responsabilités

• Assemble, fill, and finish/decorate cakes, tarts, select pastry, and special-order bakery items.
• Build, ice, and decorate cakes following standard procedures and maintain production records.
• Prioritize production lists and adjust as needed.
• Merchandise products in display case and ensure quality and rotation.
• Provide guidance for Apprentices and team members.
• Create special order cake designs based on customer preferences.
• Provide excellent customer service and assist customers.
