Whole Foods Market is seeking a Bakery Decorator to craft and decorate cakes, tarts, and special-order items with artistic flair. You will ensure quality, maintain records, and support core values while delivering outstanding customer service in a fast-paced bakery environment.

This role requires efficient decorating skills, knowledge of various icings, and the ability to work as part of a team while meeting daily production goals and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Efficient cake and pastry decorating skills with intermediate piping techniques.
• Knowledge of color theory for buttercream colors and palettes.
• Ability to follow recipes, directions, and procedures.
• Strong time management and organization skills.
• Excellent teamwork and customer service abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, fill, and finish/decorate cakes, tarts, pastries, and special-order items.
• Build and decorate cakes following standard procedures and maintain production records.
• Prioritize production lists and adjust as needed.
• Showcase products in the display case and ensure freshness and proper rotation.
• Provide guidance for Apprentices and other Team Members.
