Job summary

Whole Foods Market is seeking a Bakery Decorator to create and decorate cakes, tarts, pastries, and special orders. You will use artistic skills to finish all items and uphold quality standards while delivering outstanding customer service.

You will support bakery team members, follow safety procedures, and help maintain a clean, organized work area in a fast-paced environment. Flexibility for nights and weekends is expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6–12 months retail or restaurant experience.
• Complete the Bakery Decorator Apprentice training program or equivalent experience.
• Prior experience in a professional bakery or grocery retail is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, fill, and finish/decorate cakes, tarts, pastries, and special-order bakery items.
• Build, ice, and decorate cakes following standard procedures; maintain production records.
• Prioritize production lists and adjust as needed.
• Merchandise products in the display case and ensure freshness and rotation.
