Job summary

Eataly North America is seeking a Bread Production Sales Associate for our 24-hour bakery in Los Angeles. You will produce bread and focaccia following authentic Italian recipes, and support both our restaurants and retail operations. Reports to the Bakery Manager.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, 1+ year of baker experience, basic math, and strong work ethic. Availability for evenings and weekends, and ability to lift up to 50 pounds, are required.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of baker preparation experience.
• Basic math and measuring skills.
• Good work ethic, communication and time management.
• Post-secondary culinary program highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepares bread, focaccia, rolls and other bread items for Eataly’s restaurants and retail operations.
• Follows proper proofing and baking techniques for each variety of bread.
• Maintains a clean and sanitary food production area according to Department of Health standards.
• Works towards mastering all shifts and production processes.
• Assists Sales Associates and engages with guests interested in learning about our bread production.
• Performs other duties as required or assigned.
