Job summary

Neros, a defense tech company in Washington, DC, seeks an Army Direct Sales Associate to build relationships across Army units and accelerate drone adoption on the modern battlefield. You will manage inbound traffic and quotes, keep the CRM current, plan field demonstrations, and eventually conduct outbound engagements end-to-end, traveling to bases and field locations as needed.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years in defense business development or customer-facing role.
• Familiarity with Army units or strong drive to learn.
• Meticulous attention to detail.
• Experience planning events, trade shows, and field engagements.
• Honest communication, including admitting when you don’t know and following up.
• Excellent communication with military and civilian stakeholders.
• Willingness to travel frequently to bases and field locations.
• Ability to obtain a security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Manage relationships across Army units to accelerate drone adoption.
• Handle inbound customer traffic and quotes, keep CRM current.
• Plan and execute field demonstrations and trade shows.
• Feed battlefield insights back to engineering and BD.
• Develop outbound engagements and demos as you grow.
• Travel to military bases and field locations as required.
