Allied Universal Services is seeking an Armed Security Shift Supervisor to oversee and coordinate the delivery of security services on a specific shift at a Chicago client site. The role acts as a liaison between site supervision, Account Managers, and security officers, providing coaching and discipline within approved guidelines.

The position emphasizes staff supervision, training, and incident response, with required industry standards and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Must be 21+ years old with a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with diverse stakeholders.
• Licensing requirements may apply per state/local laws.
• Background check and drug screen required.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Intermediate computer skills to operate wireless technology at client sites.
• Ability to handle crisis situations calmly.
• Ability to relay staffing needs to Account or Operations Manager.
• Ensure officers receive training and professional development.
• Manage uniforms, equipment, and site supplies.
• Physical ability to lift up to 40 pounds and climb stairs occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate security services on the assigned shift.
• Act as liaison between site supervisor, Account Manager, and officers.
• Provide coaching, recognition, and discipline within empowerment range.
• Ensure safety programs and JSA documentation are followed.
• Assist with uniforms, equipment, and vehicle inventories.
