Job summary

Allied Universal, a leading security and facility services provider, is seeking a full-time Armed Patrol Driver Readiness Security Officer in Los Angeles, CA. The role involves patrolling, monitoring access, handling incidents, and delivering customer service to government facility personnel and the public.

This position requires an armed guard card or license, a valid driver’s license, at least 1 year of security experience, and the ability to respond calmly to emergencies while coordinating

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of security-related experience.
• Armed guard card or license required.
• Valid driver’s license required per policy.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Pepper spray certification preferred.
• Must be at least 21 years old for armed roles.
• Background check and drug screen required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to government facility personnel, visitors, and the public.
• Conduct armed patrols of buildings, grounds, and perimeters to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to restricted areas and verify credentials.
• Respond to incidents and coordinate with law enforcement and responders.
• Prepare reports and log observations and policy violations.
