Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Government Patrol Full-Time in Los Angeles, CA to protect clients across government and other sectors. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain visible security presence, and deliver professional customer service on a variety of sites.

Responsibilities include using our scheduling platform to claim shifts, responding to incidents, and coordinating with site teams. Previous security experience and a license are preferred; training is provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of security-related experience.
• Handcuffing certification preferred.
• Guard Card or license preferred.
• Baton certification preferred.
• CPR certification preferred.
• 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by law.
• Drug screen as permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply by state/local laws.
• Driver's license required for driving positions.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients and carry out security procedures as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and effectively.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the location and perimeter.
• Observe and report suspicious activity or hazards to management.
• Assist visitors and employees with directions and inquiries.
• Coordinate with law enforcement and emergency responders when required.
• Complete detailed incident and activity reports as required.
