As a Security Officer Full Time Armed Patrol Driver Readiness in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Armed Security Officer supporting a government location, you will drive patrol routes, monitor assigned areas, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will respond to situations with professionalism, communicate clearly with staff and visitors, and provide exceptional customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to government facility personnel, visitors, and members of the public by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials and authorizations, and report access-control irregularities in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; coordinate with law enforcement, emergency responders, and facility representatives as directed.
• Prepare accurate reports, maintain required logs, and communicate observations, incidents, and policy violations through established reporting channels.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• An armed guard card or license is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Pepper spray certification is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
