Job summary

Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, seeks an Armed Patrol Security Officer in Los Angeles, CA to safeguard government facilities and provide exceptional customer service.

You will conduct armed patrols, deter incidents, monitor access, respond to alarms, and coordinate with law enforcement as needed. A clean background, armed guard license, and minimum one year of security experience are required.

Qualifications

• At least one year of security-related experience.
• Armed guard card or license is required.
• For armed roles, candidate must be 21+.
• Background check and drug screen as per law.
• Must be able to pass licensing and training requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors and staff while following site procedures.
• Conduct regular armed patrols of buildings, grounds, and perimeters.
• Respond to incidents and alarms in a calm, professional manner.
• Monitor access points and direct authorized personnel and vehicles.
• Document observations and coordinate with law enforcement when needed.
