Job summary

Allied Universal in Signal Hill, CA is seeking an Armed Driver Emergency Coordination Security Officer to protect client sites and ensure safety. You will monitor, patrol, and respond to security concerns while delivering professional customer service and maintaining a visible presence.

Requirements include a valid armed guard card, a valid driver’s license, and at least 6 months of armed security or law enforcement experience. A background check and drug screen are required.

Qualifications

• Possess a valid armed guard card or license.
• Have at least 6 months of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter.
