Job summary

Allied Universal in Los Angeles is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Armed Patrol with experience at government facilities. You will conduct patrols, verify credentials, monitor access, and respond to security concerns with professionalism.

The position requires an armed guard card/license, at least 1 year of security experience, and valid certifications where applicable. Compensation is $26.81 per hour with day-time shifts, training, and benefits included.

Qualifications

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• An armed guard card or license is required.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• Baton certification is preferred.
• Handcuffing certification is preferred.
• Pepper spray certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and the public by carrying out security-related procedures and emergency responses at a government facility.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials, and report access-control concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations following post orders and agency protocols.
• Prepare clear reports and maintain logs of incidents, observations, patrols, and interactions.
