Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking an Armed Security Officer at a government location in Los Angeles, CA. You will provide customer service, conduct armed patrols, monitor restricted areas, and respond to incidents with professionalism.

This full-time role requires at least 2 years of security experience, a valid armed guard license, CPR and pepper spray certifications preferred, and compliance with background and drug screen checks.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Valid armed guard card or license.

• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Complete industry-specific security training.

• Driver's license required for driving positions.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and the public at a government location while following procedures.
• Conduct armed patrols of buildings, parking areas, access points, and perimeter.
• Monitor access to restricted areas and verify credentials.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies calmly and coordinate with responders.
• Prepare accurate patrol and incident reports.
