Job Description

As a Armed Security Officer Warehouse - Windfern in Houston, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer at a retail location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and respond professionally to evolving situations. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license and Level III Armed Certification. You will deliver exceptional customer service and clear communication while representing Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, and integrity-driven culture.

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to clients, customers, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the retail location, including sales areas, receiving areas, parking lots, and perimeter areas, while remaining alert to unusual activity and potential hazards.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and notifying appropriate personnel and/or emergency services.
• Monitor access points and restricted areas, verify authorized entry as required, and help to deter unauthorized activity, theft, and property damage.
• Document observations, incidents, and patrol activities accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal supervision and site leadership.

Minimum Requirements

• Have at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, corrections, or military experience, or at least 5 years of armed security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
