Allied Universal is seeking an Armed Security Officer - Warehouse in Houston, TX. The role involves patrolling a retail location, maintaining a visible security presence, and ensuring customer and team safety.

Expect to work on a full-time schedule with a pay rate of $22.00 per hour. Ideal candidates have 3+ years of combined law enforcement/military or 5+ years armed security experience, a Texas Level III Armed Certification, and a high school diploma.

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license as per AU policy requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients and store team members by carrying out site-specific security procedures and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations calmly and following protocols.
• Conduct regular armed patrols throughout the retail location to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and report suspicious behavior or hazards to appropriate personnel.
• Prepare accurate incident and patrol reports and maintain required documentation.

As a Armed Security Officer - Warehouse in Houston, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Armed Security Professional at a retail location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for customers and team members. This driving post requires travel throughout assigned areas. Pre-Employment Requirements

• Active Armed Guard Card/License
• Valid Driver's License - AU Driver Policy Requirements
• 3+ Years' Combined Law Enforcement/Corrections/Military OR 5+ Years Armed Security Experience

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, customers, and store team members by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the retail location, including sales areas, entrances, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter locations, to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location; report suspicious behavior, hazards, and policy concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain required documentation for incidents, patrols, and other security-related activities.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, corrections, military, or 5 years of armed security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas only.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
