• Maintain incident reports and daily activity logs per policy and site requirements.

• Maintain required documentation, including incident reports, patrol activity, and daily activity logs, in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.

Job Description

As a Security Officer - Northwest FWY in Houston, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer at a retail location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and provide exceptional customer service. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license and Texas Level III Armed Certification. What You'll Do

• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while following applicable armed post orders and escalation procedures.

• Observe and report suspicious activity, policy violations, hazards, and other security-related concerns to appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders.
• Maintain required documentation, including incident reports, patrol activity, and daily activity logs, in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.

Minimum Requirements

• Possess 3+ years of combined law enforcement, corrections, or military experience, or 5+ years of armed security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
