Allied Universal, Houston, TX, is seeking an Armed Security Officer for a Warehouse post on Windfern Rd. in Houston. You will conduct armed patrols, deter security incidents, and assist customers and team members in a dynamic retail environment.

Requirements include 21+ years old, Level III Armed Certification in Texas, and a valid driver’s license. Schedule includes multiple night shifts; prior law enforcement or military experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Three years combined law enforcement, corrections, or military OR five years armed security experience.
• Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, customers, and employees while carrying out site-specific procedures, armed post orders, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following applicable procedures and reporting requirements.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout retail sales areas, entrances, parking areas, loading zones, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe customer and employee activity for unusual conditions, policy violations, or potential security-related concerns.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

As a Armed Security Officer Warehouse - Windfern Rd. in Houston, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Minimum Requirements

• Possess at least three years of combined law enforcement, corrections, or military experience, or at least five years of armed security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
