Job summary

Allied Universal in Houston, TX is seeking an Armed Security Officer Warehouse Patrol to provide security and customer service in a retail/warehouse setting. This part-time role offers a flexible schedule and entitles you to guard post duties, patrols, and incident response.

You must have 3+ years combined law enforcement or 5+ years armed security, a Texas Level III Armed Certification, a valid driver’s license, and be 21+.

Qualifications

• Provide customer service to clients, shoppers, and team members while carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, requesting additional support when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout retail sales areas, receiving areas, parking lots, and the surrounding perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.

What You’ll Do

Minimum Requirements

• Possess at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, corrections, or military experience, or at least 5 years of armed security‑related experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry‑specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
