Job summary

Allied Universal in Chandler, AZ is seeking an Armed Security Officer - Response to safeguard government and other facilities. You will perform armed patrols, respond to incidents, maintain logs, and provide professional customer service while upholding post orders.

The role requires an armed guard card/license, 1 year of armed security or related experience, 21+ years old, a high school diploma, and successful background/drug screening. Full-time with competitive pay.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Armed guard card or license required.
• Must be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background investigation will be conducted.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• State/local licensing requirements may apply.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and the public following site procedures.
• Conduct regular armed patrols of buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeters.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations calmly and professionally.
• Monitor access points, verify authorization, and maintain logs and documentation.
• Maintain professional communication with site personnel, law enforcement, and emergency responders while armed.
