Allied Universal is seeking an Armed Security Officer to provide armed protective services for a high-profile client. Responsibilities include armed patrols, access control, CCTV monitoring, incident reporting, and excellent customer service to protect personnel and property.

The role requires compliance with security protocols, state/local licensing, and ongoing training. A strong emphasis on professionalism, teamwork, and clear communication is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• License requirements may apply per state/local laws.
• Must possess or obtain BLS CPR/AED and First Aid.
• Must have or be able to obtain firearms qualifications.
• NWDTP certification required.
• OC, Baton and handcuffing certifications preferred.
• Two years armed security, US military service, or armed civilian law enforcement experience preferred.
• Minimum age of 21.
• Ability to operate radio/console equipment.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to document incidents clearly.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality security services to protect people and property.
• Build and maintain relationships with client employees and guests.
• Report safety concerns and security breaches in writing and verbally.
• Handle security issues and emergencies per protocol.
• Follow site-specific directives and post orders.
• Greet visitors and employees and assist as needed.
• Patrol facility on foot or vehicle.
• Monitor phones, CCTV, and alarms.
