Allied Universal in Tucson, AZ is seeking an Armed Security Officer - Monitor to protect people and property at a government location. Qualifications include at least 1 year of security experience, a valid security license where required, and the ability to pass background and drug screening.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• A state, county, or city-issued security license is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Baton certification is preferred.
• Handcuffing certification is preferred.
• Armed roles require being at least 21 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and the public by following site-specific procedures and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations, reporting unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points, verify authorized entry, and assist with visitor screening and directions.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations with calm, professional problem-solving, and notify appropriate personnel.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain logs for patrol activity, incidents, and access-related events.
