Job summary

Allied Universal, based in Phoenix, AZ, is seeking an Armed Security Officer - Incident Response to protect government locations and other facilities. You will perform routine armed patrols, monitor access points, and respond to incidents with professional customer service and clear reporting.

Qualified candidates have at least 1 year of armed security, a valid armed guard card or license, and the ability to pass background and drug screening.

Job Description

As a Armed Security Officer - Incident Responsein Phoenix, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer supporting a government location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and provide professional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a government services location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry in accordance with site procedures, while maintaining a professional presence and providing directions or assistance as needed.
• Complete required incident reports, patrol logs, and other documentation accurately and promptly, and communicate relevant observations to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
• Possess an armed guard card and/or license.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
