The role is full-time with a daytime schedule and a pay rate of $15.45 per hour. Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of security experience, a high school diploma, and the ability to obtain required licenses.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of security-related experience.
• Must be 21 years of age for armed roles.
• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Background check and drug screen may be required by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and agency personnel by following security procedures.
• Monitor and control access to government facilities; verify credentials and logs.
• Respond to incidents and alarms calmly and document activities.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned buildings and perimeters.
• Prepare accurate patrol and incident reports and maintain records.
