Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer (Armed Patrol Driver) in Culpeper, VA. The role involves patrolling, driving a patrol vehicle, verifying access, and responding to incidents while delivering customer service at an aerospace/defense site.

Candidates must hold an armed guard card or license, a DoD Secret clearance, and a valid driver’s license. CPR is preferred, and a background check plus drug screen may apply.

Qualifications

• Possess a valid armed guard card or license.
• Maintain an active DoD Secret Clearance.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screening as required by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, access-control requirements, and emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned buildings, restricted areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials for authorized personnel, visitors, and deliveries in accordance with site requirements.
• Document patrols, incidents, and unusual conditions accurately and promptly, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
