Job summary

Allied Universal in Culpeper, VA is seeking a part-time Security Officer Armed Patrol Driver Clearance Required. You will conduct armed patrols, monitor access, and respond to incidents while delivering excellent customer service.

Requirements include an Armed Guard Card or license, active DoD Secret Clearance, a valid driver’s license, and 21+ years of age. CPR preferred; background check and drug screen as required.

Qualifications

• Armed Guard Card or License.
• Active DoD Secret Clearance.
• A valid driver’s license.
• CPR Certification is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, access-control requirements, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, controlled areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials for authorized personnel, visitors, and deliveries in accordance with site requirements.
• Document patrol activities, incidents, unusual conditions, and interactions accurately and promptly in required reports.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent

Active DoD Secret Clearance

Armed Guard Card or License
