Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Guard Armed Driver with Active Clearance Mobile Patrol in Culpeper, VA. The role involves patrolling facilities, maintaining a visible presence, and responding to security incidents at an aerospace/defense site.

You will verify credentials, monitor access points, and document observations while delivering professional customer service. The position requires an armed guard card, a DoD Secret clearance, and a valid driver’s license; CPR and Pepper Spray

Qualifications

• Armed Guard Card or License required.
• Active DoD Secret Clearance required.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Pepper Spray Certification preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate at an aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned facilities, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials for authorized personnel, visitors, and deliveries in accordance with site-specific requirements.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related concerns accurately and promptly, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
