Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a part-time Security Officer (Armed Patrol Driver) in Culpeper, VA. You will provide security, patrol assigned areas, and drive as required on aerospace/defense sites.

Minimum requirements include an armed guard card/license, active DoD Secret Clearance, a valid driver’s license, and a high school diploma. CPR is preferred and background checks/drug screening apply where permitted by law.

Qualifications

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by enforcing site policies and procedures.
• Respond to incidents and alarms calmly while following post orders and escalation procedures.
• Conduct armed patrols of buildings, restricted areas, parking areas, and perimeters to deter unauthorized activity.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, access-control requirements, and emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned buildings, restricted areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials for authorized personnel, visitors, and deliveries in accordance with site requirements.
• Document patrols, incidents, and unusual conditions accurately and promptly, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
