Job summary

Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is seeking an Armed Security Officer in Culpeper, VA. You will monitor and patrol, maintain a visible presence, and provide outstanding customer service while upholding Allied Universal’s standards.

Requirements include a CPO certification, Armed Guard Card or License, and a high school diploma. You will join a team focused on safety, integrity, and reliable response in a dynamic facility environment.

Qualifications

• Possess a CPO certification.
• Possess an Armed Guard Card or License.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a technology infrastructure location.
• Maintain an armed post in accordance with applicable laws, licensing requirements, company policy, and site-specific procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel as required.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, perimeter, parking areas, and critical infrastructure areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, verify authorized entry, document incidents, and provide escorts as directed by site procedures.
