As a Security Officer Patrol Associate in Raleigh, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help discourage security-related incidents, and support visitors and staff through strong customer service and communication. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $17.59 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Friday 08:00 AM – 06:00 PM
• Saturday 08:30 AM – 06:30 PM
• Sunday 08:30 AM – 06:30 PM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or members of the public by carrying out site-specific procedures and assigned security-related duties at a government location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report relevant activity according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and observe activity on the property, assisting with security-related concerns, visitor direction, and/or questions as appropriate.
• Support emergency response activities when appropriate, including communicating with site contacts, documenting events, and following post instructions.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required before employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
