Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Armed Patrol Incident Response in Charlotte, NC to protect clients across industries. You will conduct routine armed patrols, maintain a visible presence, and respond to security concerns with professionalism.

In this role, you will provide exceptional customer service, monitor access points, and comply with site policies. A background check and drug screen are required, with licensing as applicable.

• Must be 21+ years old for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures.
• Monitor access points, verify authorized entry, and assist with visitor management per site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations; notify appropriate personnel and document activities.
• Conduct regular armed patrols of the facility, ATM areas, parking areas, and perimeter.
• Maintain readiness of assigned equipment and follow licensing requirements for armed posts.

As an Armed Patrol Officer at a financial institution, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $29.40 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Thur 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Fri 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Sat 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Sun 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor access points, verify authorized entry, and assist with visitor management in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document activities as required.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the facility, ATM areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Maintain readiness of assigned equipment and follow applicable laws, licensing requirements, and company procedures for armed posts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 1 year of experience in armed security-related roles, law enforcement, or the military.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
