Job summary

Allied Universal in Katy, TX is seeking an Armed Security Officer - Part Time to protect a retail location and deter incidents. You will perform armed patrols, respond to security events, and maintain a professional presence while delivering excellent customer service.

Requirements include a Texas Level III Armed Certification, a valid driver’s license, and being 21 years or older. The role is part-time with a pay rate of $22.00 per hour and a flexible evening/night schedule.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years combined law enforcement, corrections, and/or military experience, or 5+ years armed security experience.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Texas Level III Armed Certification (Texas).
• 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, customers, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures and policies.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical situations, and other critical events following established protocols.
• Conduct regular armed patrols throughout the retail location to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, observe activity, and report suspicious behavior or violations to appropriate personnel.
• Complete accurate incident reports and patrol logs with professional presence.
