This role offers a flexible part-time schedule with armed responsibilities. Candidates must have an Armed Guard Card, Texas Level III certification, and a high school diploma to join a team known for integrity and community protection.

Qualifications

• Armed Guard Card or License required.
• At least 6 months of armed security-related experience.
• Level III Armed Certification in Texas required.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check as per laws.
• Drug screen as permitted by law.
• Participation in industry security training.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and the public at a government location following security procedures and policies.
• Conduct regular and random armed and unarmed patrols of buildings, parking areas, and perimeters; report hazards and maintenance needs.
• Monitor access points and observe activity to deter unauthorized entry and maintain professionalism.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and emergencies calmly and coordinate with authorities as directed.
• Complete patrol logs, incident reports, and shift documentation promptly.
