Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a part-time Armed Security Officer for the Houston area. The role offers stable, fixed shifts with the opportunity to pick up additional shifts to increase earnings. Ideal candidates hold a valid Texas Level III Armed Certification, an armed guard card, and a valid driver's license.

You will protect customers and employees, respond to incidents, and maintain safety across the site. Salary is set at $22.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Minimum 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Armed Guard Card/License (Texas Level III) required.
• Valid driver's license.
• Background check and drug screen required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to customers, employees, and visitors following site policies and emergency procedures.
• Respond to incidents and emergencies in a calm, solution‑oriented manner; contact appropriate personnel or emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular armed patrols of the site and deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and report suspicious activities or hazards per site procedures.
• Complete required activity reports and shift communications accurately and timely.
