Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Enhanced Armed Security Officer in Phoenix, AZ to provide reliable security service at a designated site with fixed anchor shifts and optional additional shifts via our platform.

Pay rate is $24.00 per hour with opportunities to earn more through the Earn More, Claim-A-Shift program; role includes adherence to site-specific policies and required qualifications including potential licensing and CPR/First Aid.

Qualifications

• Guard card or license preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Armed guard card or license preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors and employees at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor access points, verify authorized entry, and maintain awareness of activity within assigned areas to help protect personnel, property, and sensitive financial operations.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document actions taken.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the facility, parking areas, and perimeter, observing for unusual activity, hazards, and policy violations.
• Maintain required armed-post qualifications, handle assigned equipment in accordance with applicable laws and company policy, and complete accurate incident and daily activity reports.
