Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking an Armed Security Guard – Flex in Phoenix, AZ for a part-time role with a fixed anchor shift and the option to pick up additional shifts to earn more. The position offers a pay rate of $24.00 per hour and requires a six-month commitment to the designated site.

The schedule is DayTime Fri 08:30 AM - 05:30 PM, with responsibilities including customer service, incident response, armed patrols, and access control.

Qualifications

• Armed guard card/license is preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees while carrying out site-specific procedures, financial institution policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and communicate with appropriate personnel and emergency responders.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, entry points, parking areas, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials in accordance with site procedures, and report irregularities or security-related concerns.
• Carry and maintain authorized duty equipment in accordance with applicable laws, licensing requirements, Allied Universal policies, and site-specific procedures.
