Allied Universal in Phoenix, AZ is seeking an Armed Security Officer - Flex Part-Time to provide protective services at a designated site with reliable, fixed hours and optional extra shifts. This part-time role offers a $24.00/hour pay rate, daytime schedule 08:00 AM - 05:30 PM, and opportunities to grow toward a full-time schedule while maintaining flexibility.

Requirements include an armed guard card or license, 21+ years old, a high school diploma or equivalent, and the ability to pass

Qualifications

• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Background check will be conducted as per applicable laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements may vary by state/local laws.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and follow escalation protocols.
• Conduct regular armed patrols at the site, including entry points and perimeter.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized personnel, visitors, and deliveries.
• Carry authorized equipment in compliance with laws and site procedures, deterring unauthorized activity.
