Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking an Armed Security Officer - Shift Flex in Phoenix, AZ. This part-time role offers flexible hours and fixed anchor shifts at an assigned site, with opportunities to pick up additional shifts through a scheduling platform to increase earnings.

The position pays $23.00 per hour and requires an armed guard card/license, high school diploma or equivalent, and the ability to pass a background check and drug screen.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Armed guard card/license is required for armed roles.
• Pepper spray and CPR/First Aid certifications are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and the public while carrying out security procedures and emergency response at a government transportation location.
• Conduct regular armed patrols of assigned areas and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials, and document activity.
• Respond to incidents calmly and follow post orders and procedures.
• Prepare clear reports of patrols, incidents, and observations for leadership and site reps.
