Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Part-Time, Armed Security Officer for access control and patrol duties in Selinsgrove, PA. The role requires Act 235 qualification and PA Concealed Carry where applicable, with a paid hourly rate of $29.80 and opportunities for advancement to full-time armed roles.

You will patrol sites, deter incidents, provide customer service, and enforce site policies while maintaining safety and security across assigned clients.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years armed security / law enforcement or 3 years combined experience.
• Act 235 qualification for PA posts and PA Concealed Carry Permit where required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service and execute site-specific security procedures.
• Respond to incidents calmly and solve problems.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the site and perimeter.
• Enforce rules and directives to maintain site viability.
• Maintain proficiency with protective equipment and weapons.
• Greet and escort visitors, secure access points and classified info.
• Report safety concerns and security breaches via written and verbal channels.
