Job summary

Allied Universal in the Harrisburg area is seeking a part-time armed Security Officer specializing in access control and patrols. You will serve clients across industries, deter incidents, provide customer service, and maintain a visible security presence to safeguard people and property.

The role requires Act 235 qualification in PA, a valid PA CCW permit, 21+ age, at least 3 years in armed security or related fields, and the ability to travel up to 40 miles from Greater Harrisburg.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in Armed Security / Law Enforcement / Armed Corrections or equivalent.
• Must possess PA Concealed Carry Weapons permit.
• Act 235 Qualification required for PA positions.
• Must be able to travel up to 40 miles from the Greater Harrisburg, PA area.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service and security procedures on site.
• Respond to incidents calmly and decisively.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the site and perimeter.
• Preserve order and enforce site rules and directives.
• Maintain proficiency with all protective equipment and weapons.
• Greet and escort visitors, secure entry/exit points and information.
