Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking an Armed Security Officer at Palmer Hwy in Texas City, TX. The role involves protecting clients across Retail/Malls, conducting patrols, and maintaining a visible security presence.

Requires 3+ years combined law enforcement/corrections/military or 5+ years armed security, a valid Texas Level III Armed Certification, and a valid driver’s license. Pay is $22.00 per hour with a full-time schedule.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years of combined law enforcement/corrections/military OR 5+ years armed security experience.
• Armed security role requires a valid driver’s license as per policy requirements.
• Hold a Level III Armed Certification (Texas only).
• Must be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Background check and drug screen are required by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients and shoppers by carrying out security-related procedures and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents calmly and follow post orders and procedures.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the retail location including floors, entrances, parking, and perimeters.
• Monitor for suspicious activity and document observations for leadership and/or law enforcement.
• Maintain professional interactions with employees, vendors, and visitors to deter unauthorized activity.
