Allied Universal, a leading security and facility services company, is seeking an Armed Security Officer at a retail site in Houston, TX. You will perform patrols, deter incidents, and assist customers and store staff.

This full-time daytime position requires a valid driver’s license, Level III Armed Certification in Texas, and being at least 21 years old, with a pay rate of $17.25 per hour. Join a team that values agility, reliability, and integrity.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience in security or retail settings.
• Must be able to patrol and monitor premises.
• Ability to respond to incidents calmly and effectively.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, shoppers, and store team members by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, including disturbances, medical situations, suspicious activity, and retail-related concerns, in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the retail location, parking areas, loading areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and support access-control procedures for employees, vendors, deliveries, and contractors in accordance with site-specific requirements.
• Document observations, incidents, and patrol activities accurately and promptly, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.
