Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking an Armed Security Officer at a Houston retail location. This full-time role involves patrolling, maintaining a visible presence, and responding to incidents with professional customer service.

A valid Level III Armed Certification in Texas, a driver’s license, and 3+ years in security or 5+ years armed security are required. Responsibilities include access control, incident documentation, and coordination with site leadership to ensure safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent and be at least 21 years old.
• 3 years of combined law enforcement/corrections/military or 5 years armed security experience.
• Valid driver’s license and Texas Level III Armed Certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, customers, and employees while following policies.
• Perform armed patrols throughout the location to deter incidents.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and professionally.
• Monitor access points and support access-control procedures for staff and visitors.
• Document observations and communicate important information to leadership.
