Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking an Armed Security Officer - Little York Rd in Houston, TX for a part-time role. You will safeguard clients across Retail/Malls, perform armed patrols, respond to incidents, and maintain clear documentation while upholding Allied Universal’s trusted service culture.

The position requires a valid Texas Level III Armed Certification, a valid driver’s license, and a minimum of 3 years’ combined law enforcement/corrections/military or 5+ years of armed security experience.

Qualifications

• Provide customer service to clients, shoppers, and staff by carrying out security procedures and policies.
• Monitor and report suspicious activity and security incidents in a timely manner.
• Maintain calm, professional responses during incidents while following site procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, shoppers, and store personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular armed patrols throughout the retail location, including sales areas, receiving areas, parking lots, and perimeter locations, to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, observe activity, and report concerns to leadership and site representatives.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner following site procedures and laws.
• Maintain accurate activity, incident, and patrol documentation and communicate information to leadership.
