Job summary

Waldensecurity is seeking an experienced court security officer to perform entrance control, roving patrols, stationary posts, and escorted court protections. Each shift enforces federal and local rules to maintain safety and order within government facilities.

Responsibilities include reporting incidents, monitoring security devices, directing traffic, and providing secure access to courts. Candidates must meet strict education and licensing requirements and pass background checks.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Minimum three years of verifiable law enforcement or military security experience in the last seven years.
• Must have general arrest authority.

Responsibilities

• Perform entrance control with screening to detect weapons and contraband.
• Conduct roving patrols of court facilities and grounds.
• Stand guard at stationary posts including courtrooms and judge chambers.
• Provide armed escort duties for judges and court personnel.
• Direct traffic and control lights at court properties.
• Enforce federal law and protect government employees and property.
• Prepare reports on incidents and contract performance issues.
• Secure unattended courtrooms and inspect rooms before proceedings.
• Maintain order and enforce courtroom rules as required.
