Job summary

Walden Security is recruiting experienced Court Security Officers to provide armed security at courthouses under the USMS contract. Responsibilities include entrance control, roving patrols, stationary post duties, escorted movements, and maintaining court security and safety.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and at least three years of verifiable law enforcement or military security experience, plus valid driver’s license and DOJ clearance. Competitive benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Must have completed or graduated from certified law enforcement training academy and provide proof.

Responsibilities

• Perform entrance control and screening to detect weapons and contraband.
• Roving patrol of court facilities and grounds.
• Monitor security posts and CCTV and duress alarms.
• Provide armed escort services for judges and court personnel.
• Direct traffic and control parking and pedestrian flow on facility properties.
• Enforce federal law and protect government property and personnel.
