Job summary

Walden Security is recruiting experienced Court Security Officers to provide armed security for courthouses under the USMS contract. Officers will enforce entry controls, perform roving patrols, monitor CCTV, and escort court personnel as needed.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, 3+ years of verified law enforcement experience, and a valid driver's license with a clean record. Applicants must be 21+, pass a background check and drug screen, and demonstrate English proficiency.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 3+ years of verifiable law enforcement experience within last 7 years.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record (5 years).
• Certification as a law enforcement officer with proof.
• Must be 21+ years old; pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.
• Ability to read/write/speak English; understand procedures.

Responsibilities

• Enforce entrance control and screening of visitors and items.
• Roving patrols of court facilities and grounds.
• Monitor stationary posts including CCTV and alarm systems.
• Provide armed escort duties for judges and court personnel.
• Direct traffic and manage parking and pedestrian flow.
• Prepare incident and contract performance reports.
• Secure unattended courtrooms and ensure order in courtrooms.
