Job summary

Walden Security is seeking experienced Court Security Officers to provide armed security for courthouses under the USMS contract. CSOs will perform entrance control, roving patrols, stationary posts, and escorted security duties to safeguard court facilities.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, at least three years as a certified law enforcement officer with arrest authority, plus a valid driver's license and DOJ clearance. Competitive pay and benefits accompany the role.

Responsibilities

Perform entrance control and enforce entry/ID systems.
Conduct roving patrols of court facilities and grounds.
Stand stationary posts monitoring CCTV, alarms, and security equipment.
Provide armed escort services for judges, court personnel, and others.
Direct traffic and control lights at court facility properties where applicable.
Prepare reports on contract performance, incidents, and safety concerns.
Secure unattended courtrooms and test security devices before proceedings.
Maintain courtroom order and enforce federal law and court rules.
