Job summary

Walden Security is recruiting an experienced Prior Law Enforcement-Court Security Officer for Oklahoma City, OK. The role involves armed security for courthouses under the USMS contract, enforcing federal law, and protecting court personnel and proceedings.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least three years of verifiable law enforcement experience within the last seven years.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record for the past five years; DOJ clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Perform entrance control and screen for weapons and contraband using screening equipment.
• Conduct roving patrols and monitor court facilities and grounds.
• Stand at stationary posts, monitor CCTV and alarm systems, and protect courtrooms and judge chambers.
• Provide armed escort duties for judges, court personnel, jurors, and other designated individuals.
• Direct traffic and control access on court facility properties as needed.
• Enforce federal law and preserve order within the court area; detain individuals as required.
