Job summary

Walden Security is seeking highly professional, prior law enforcement officers for the Court Security Officer (CSO) position in Washington, DC. The role requires 3 years of verifiable experience with a recognized agency and involves armed security within government facilities.

Responsibilities include entrance control, roving patrols, stationary posts, escorts, and reporting, with strict adherence to law and agency protocols.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of verifiable experience as a certified law enforcement officer or equivalent.
• Must read, write, speak and understand English.
• Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record in past 5 years; DOJ clearance.
• Graduated from Police Academy or certified law enforcement training program.

Responsibilities

• Perform entrance control using screening equipment and identify prohibited items.
• Conduct roving patrols and monitor facilities and grounds.
• Stand stationary posts and monitor CCTV and alarm systems.
• Provide armed escort services for officials and designated individuals.
• Direct traffic and manage garage parking and pedestrian flow when required.
